Participation (YPAM2023)

YPAM is an international platform of performing arts for:

Professionals – Performing arts professionals who connect performing arts productions and audiences through production, support, venues, criticism, research, and various other forms of activities, and
Audiences – The general public who activate the environment by watching/thinking/talking about the performing arts and inspire expressionists.

Tickets for the programs will be available mainly at the YPAM Ticket Center. Since some program have different pages for purchasing their tickets, please refer to the event website to learn where you get tickets from for each show.

There are three ways to participate in YPAM2023.

Issuing Your YPAM Pass: For the shows and Exchange programs you purchased a ticket as a professional, you will be asked to show your YPAM Pass at the venue. Please make sure to stop by the YPAM Fringe Center to get your pass.

Utilizing the Event Website: Not only the program information but also various networking functions are available on the website. You can easily explore the website just like any other social media platforms. Check out the User’s Guide to learn the basics.

Participating in YPAM Exchange: Please bring your YPAM pass with you on the day of your visit. You can also participate some programs online. Some programs requires reservation. Please check out the program information on the event website.

Hosting a Meeting at YPAM Exchange: You can host a meeting with a topic of your choice. Meeting slots are limited so we recommend that you claim your slot early.

Exhibiting a Virtual Booth at YPAM Event Website: You can set up your network base on YPAM Event Website where you can introduce your work and activities to YPAM registrants.

Registering Your Show at YPAM Fringe: You can have your show information listed on the event website and promote your work to domestic/international performing arts professionals and general audiences.

Attending the performances of YPAM Direction, YPAM Joint Program, and YPAM Fringe: Please check out the information page for each show to find out ticket information and where you can purchase the tickets for each show. When attending a performance as a professional, make sure you bring your YPAM Pass with you.

Notes About Ticket Purchase

*Tickets purchased through the YPAM ticketing system cannot be canceled. For tickets handled by other sellers, please check the cancelation policy on their website.
*Professional tickets (with discount) are not available for some performances. Please refer to ticket information on each event’s page.
*The number of Professional Ticket a registrant can purchase per show is limited to ONE.
*Please present your YPAM Pass when attending a performance for which you have purchased a Professional Ticket.
*The reception procedure at the venue differs for each performance. Please refer to the event information on the event website and contact the respective organization if you cannot find the information you are looking for.

Hosting a Meeting at YPAM Exchange: Online-only roundtables will be held on Tuesday 5 to Thursday 7, September (JST) . Please apply for a slot if you wish to host a meeting.

Exhibiting a Virtual Booth at YPAM Event Website: You can set up your network base on YPAM Event Website where you can introduce your work and activities to YPAM registrants.

Registering Your Show at YPAM Fringe: Only-only participants can register shows performed in Yokohama/Kanagawa area at YPAM Fringe.

Attending the performances of YPAM Direction, YPAM Joint Program, and YPAM Fringe:
Please check out the information page for each show to find out ticket information and where you can purchase the tickets for each show. When attending a performance as a professional, make sure you bring your YPAM Pass with you.

Audience

Registration is not required.

Participating in the YPAM Exchange: You will have access to YPAM Exchange programs. Please refer to the program information for more information.

Attending YPAM Direction, YPAM Affiliated Programs, and YPAM Fringe Performances: You can purchase tickets for the shows at regular prices. Please check ticket information for each show on the event website and purchase tickets through YPAM Ticket Centers or other designated sellers.

There is a link to purchase tickets on each performance page of the event site. Please purchase from there.
