YPAM

YPAM Fringe is an open-call performing arts festival held during YPAM. The previous edition, in December 2024, featured 50 artists and companies who presented 202 performances and attracted a total audience of over 6,000. The festival welcomes artists and companies with a wide range of goals, from connecting with international professionals and reaching new audiences beyond their usual demographics, to establishing a presence in Yokohama and raising awareness of their work among local audiences.

• Festival period: Friday 28 – Sunday 14 December, 2025
• Performance registration fees: 18,700 – 38,500 JPY, depending on the number of performances (includes tax and professional registration for two persons)
• Registration period: Tuesday 1 July – Sunday 31 August, 17:00
