YPAM

YPAM Fringe is an open-call performing arts festival held during YPAM. The festival welcomes artists and companies with a wide range of objectives, from connecting with international professionals and reaching new audiences to establishing a presence in Yokohama and introducing their work to local audiences.

In 2025, the previous edition of YPAM Fringe featured 53 performances by 52 artists and companies, with approximately 30% of the program presented by artists based overseas.

YPAM Fringe 2027

Festival period: Friday 5 – Sunday 14 February, 2027
Performance registration fees: JPY 18,700 – 38,500, depending on the number of performances (inclusive of tax and professional registration for two persons)
Initial registration period: By Monday, August 31, 2026
Final registration period: From Wednesday, September 16 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026
*The initial registration is a required first step before you can proceed to the final registration.
