YPAM Fringe is an open-call performing arts festival held during YPAM to introduce live performances presented in the Yokohama/Kanagawa area to professional participants of YPAM and non-professional audiences.
52 artists/companies, whose purposes vary from promotion to Japanese and international presenters to exchange with the local communities, presented 160 performances of 38 works and drew more than 10,000 audiences in the previous edition (December 2023).
- Period: November 29 – December 15, 2024
- Performance registration fee: 18,700–38,500 JPY depending on the number of performances (tax and YPAM registration for two persons included)
- Registration deadline: 17:00 on August 30
