This fantastical comic mystery is based on the short stories"Shinagawa Monkey"and"Confessions of a Shinagawa Monkey"by Haruki Murakami,a world-renowned Japanese author.Based on the story of the unrequited love of the"Shinagawa Monkey,"who falls in love with a human woman and steals her name in order to fulfill his desire,the film contains multi-layered themes such as coercion, sin and salvation,memory,and identity.This fascinating story is told through bilingual dialogue and a unique visual language.Subtitles are incorporated into the spatial design,making it possible to perform in multiple languages,and the new style invites the audience into the world of the story.We hope you look forward to an unparalleled,dreamlike world brought to you by Japanese and British actors and creative staff.
