The latest work by theater artist Takahiro Fujita and his company, mum & gypsy, Curtain Call, captures the backstage hours leading up to the moment the curtain rises. In today's uncertain times, can fiction truly mirror our era? While maintaining faith in the power of fiction, Fujita sets it aside to focus on the subject closest to him—his own practice of theater. In doing so, the work seeks to expand the possibilities of theatrical expression in the present age.
