Where do we perform our work? "Leisure Time" is a performance unit formed by Yui Okamoto(actor) and Ayako Kato(violinist) who were classmates in junior high school, collaborating sometimes as artists, sometimes as friends. This work, “ATTICHOO,” premiered in July at “Suisei” in Nakano, Tokyo. For the YPAM Fringe, the content has been refined, shifting between various distances between the two performers—friends and colleagues, past and present, reality and fiction—and re-told through each other's bodies and words. The highlight lies in the interplay between actors rooted in contemporary spoken-word theater and musicians with classical music as their foundation.
